Most tourists already have an idea what to expect due to the proliferation of American culture abroad. The US is a truly huge place with plenty of things to do in every state. In general the US is very welcoming of tourists although if you can’t speak English or Spanish you won’t find many Americans who can speak your language. However with even the most basic tourist English you will be able to enjoy life the American way and that means BIG!!!

The climate varies considerably from region to region, in general you can expect it to get warmer further south and colder further north.

Things to see and do
There are countless possibilities of things to do whilst in the US. Normal tourist site of particular fame are the statue of liberty, the great lakes and the Rockies. However there are many, many things to do in all regions. See our local pages for more information.

Travel
Travel is easy with buses, trains and internal flights all readily available and budget deals are normally easy to find. Of particular value are the Greyhound bus and Amtrak rail services. Car Rental is also widely available at all major airports and many other locations.

Accommodation
Budget accommodation is also readily available in the US, even the cheapest motels will provide quite a good standard of living with almost all rooms having their own en-suite bathroom and most boasting a TV. For more advice on accommodation see our local state pages for more information.

Health
The US has an excellent private healthcare system, while you will need to make sure you have comprehensive travel insurance the standard of medical care is amongst the highest in the world. There are no shots or injections required when visiting the US from abroad.

DAY 01 DELHI - NEW YORK

Depart by flight for New York. Upon arrival at New York transfer to your hotel. Welcome to New York City. A city which never sleeps & is the Financial capital of the World! Check into your Hotel Holiday Inn Express or similar. Evening enjoy delicious Indian dinner.

DAY 02 NEW YORK - CITY TOUR - EMPIRE STATE BUILDING - STATUE OF LIBERTY - THE BEAST RIDE - MADAME TUSSAUD’S

Today after breakfast you will embark on a city tour of New York. We will begin with a visit to USA'S famous landmark "STATUE OF LIBERTY". This will include a ferry ride to Liberty Island for a spectacular view of the New York City skyline. Next we will take you on an exciting ride on "THE BEAST". Take a spin on this exciting speed boat ride. You will see sights that fly by as you reach an incredible speed of 45 mph. You will then visit the newly opened MADAME TUSSAUD'S WAX MUSEUM, this new $50 million attraction lets you get close and personal with The Who's Who of New York and International celebrities. Rub elbows with the likes of Brad Pitt, Woody Allen, Joan Rivers and Whoopi Goldberg. See how you measure up on stage with Michael Jackson and Madonna. Now get ready today for another Big Apple highlight! Experience a view of a lifetime as we visit the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING. Here we will take the tower up 102 floors to the observation tower. We will conclude this action packed day with dinner at an Indian restaurant. The best part of the day is that all the above attractions come to you with no extra cost. !!

DAY 3 NEW YORK - WASHINGTON

This morning you will board an Amtrak train to Washington DC. This will be a unique experience on the American Railway. After arriving at Union Station in Washington DC we will visit the famous "NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM". This will be followed by a city tour of Washington DC. Today our tour also includes views of White House, the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, and Supreme Court. A wonderful Indian dinner will be perfect end to this day at the Nations capital. Overnight at Hotel Washington Plaza or similar.

DAY 4 WASHINGTON - BUFFALO - NIAGARA FALLS (AMERICAN SIDE)

Today you will fly to Buffalo for a visit to Niagara Falls. After checking into your hotel near the falls enjoy a few hours free for you to enjoy Niagara's numerous sights and to do some shopping. View the famous falls thunder and roar, forming one of the most photographed natural wonders of the world. We will also board the famous boat "MAID OF THE MIST" which takes us close to the thundering falls (seasonal). Return to the hotel to freshen up after your damp ride and then enjoy dinner at Niagara's finest Indian restaurant.

DAY 5 NIAGARA FALLS - TORONTO - NIAGARA FALLS (CANADIAN SIDE)

This morning you will cross the border into Canada. You will have some time to enjoy the attractions and shops on the Canadian side. (Only if group size is more than 10 pax and you need to be in possession of a Canadian visa). We will then proceed to Toronto, one of Canada's most beautiful cities. At Toronto your panoramic tour will include going on the top of C N TOWER, the tallest structure of Canada. Evening dinner will be in one of Toronto's fine Indian restaurants. In the evening, we return back to Niagara Falls and we will stop at the Falls on the Canadian side to let you enjoy the illuminated Niagara Falls. We will then cross the border and return to our hotel on the US side.

DAY 6 BUFFALO - ORLANDO - SEA WORLD

Depart on your early morning flight to Orlando. After checking into your hotel we will drive to SEA WORLD - which is one of the world's largest Marine Park Here you shall discover Sea World's many attractions. We dare you to take a one-of-a kind water coaster thrill ride through the mysterious lost city of Atlantis. Soar through danger on a jet copter ride to the Wild Artic. At Sea World, touch, feed or get face to face with awesome and amazing wild animals, and get in on all the action that draws you back again and again! In the evening we will dine at a fine Indian Restaurant. Overnight at Hotel Wingate or similar.

DAY 7 ORLANDO - EPCOT CENTER

Begin your day at the EPCOT CENTER where you can touch the future and travel the world with an amazing array of attractions and live performances. This is an area of 260 acres devoted to past achievements and the future of technology. World showcase offers a kind of permanent World Fair, with pavilions devoted to eleven countries. Enjoy a superb Indian meal for dinner.

DAY 8 ORLANDO - WALT DISNEY WORLD'S MAGIC KINGDOM

Today you can visit the MAGIC KINGDOM where storybook fantasy is everyday reality, and Disney classics are brought to life from the moment you step onto Main Street USA, you are transported to a place where the cares of the outside world seem to magically melt away. To let you know Raj Offers the 'FAST PASS' which will make those one and two hour waits for popular rides at theme parks a thing of past. This pass will assist us to bypass the Lines. (Guests will need to insert the regular admission ticket they receive when they enter the park into kiosks near popular rides. The kiosks will stamp the ticket with time code that tells the guest when to return to board the ride. When they return, they enter a line for immediate boarding. This will enable guests to explore other areas of the parks instead of spending two hours in line for one ride). In the evening we will go to an Indian Restaurant for a delicious Indian dinner.

DAY 9 ORLANDO - SAN FRANCISCO

Fly to San Francisco in the morning. After check in we shall take you to sightseeing tour of San Francisco. You will travel on cable car lines to visit Nob Hill, shopping areas and other highlights. This will be followed by a drive to see the world famous landmark, the "Golden Gate Bridge". We will drive you down the unique crooked Lombard Street. This will be followed by a visit to Pier 39. From here we will take you on a memorable "Bay Cruise" of San Francisco. Enjoy a wonderful evening at a lovely Indian restaurant. Overnight at Hotel Quality Inn & Suites or similar.

DAY 10 SAN FRANCISCO - LAS VEGAS - VIVA LAS VEGAS - M & M WORLD -STRATOSPHERE TOWER

Depart early in the morning for your flight to Las Vegas. On arrival, transfer to your Hotel Stratosphere or similar. We continue further to M & M WORLD. M & M World features over 26,000 square feet of shopping and attractions - including the M & M's Academy, where visitors can earn their own "M" and follow Red and Yellow in and exclusive 3-D Movie Adventure!. This afternoon enjoy a visit to the Rainforest Café. Located at MGM, the Rain Forest Café is a wild Place to shop & eat and is one of the country's most exciting themed restaurants. The café recreates a tropical rainforest through a combination of live and animated wildlife and special effects. Walking into Rainforest Café, one is enveloped by lush vegetation, live tropical birds, simulated thunder and lightning, rain showers, majestic rock formations, talking trees, animated crocodiles, playful primates, fluttering butterflies and the sounds and smells of a tropical rain forest. Rainforest Café features "Gorilla Mountain" a mountainous formation full of lush vegetation, Banyan trees, jungle vines and a frolicking family of gorillas. Leopards perched on rocks overlook diners below. After this we will take you to the "Viva Las Vegas" show at the Stratosphere Tower. You need to make your own way to the Stratosphere Tower for the show. (Please note children below 5 years are not allowed. Children must be accompanied by adults. This show is subject to operations & has no replacements) Later we continue for your delicious Indian dinner.

DAY 11 GRAND CANYON AERIAL TOUR - HELICOPTER RIDE - LAS VEGAS

Enjoy breakfast in the morning and then drive to the airport for your scenic Grand Canyon flight. This 1 hour 15 minutes tour offers a bird's eye view of Western Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. After the flight enjoy the rest of the afternoon to do some shopping or visit the famous Casinos. We have yet another attraction coming up tonight, an exciting Helicopter ride in the night. This exciting experience will give you a fabulous view of illuminated Las Vegas from your helicopter. See all the dazzling lights of the great hotels and strip, from the sky. Tonight enjoy an Indian meal for dinner.

DAY 12 LAS VEGAS - LOS ANGELES

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then fly to Los Angeles. On arrival check into your and then proceed for a city tour of Los Angeles. We will drive you through the "Entertainment capital of the world", Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Sunset strip & Rodeo Drive. For dinner enjoy a mouthwatering spread at a lovely Indian restaurant. Overnight at Hotel Quality Inn & Suites or similar.

DAY 13 LOS ANGELES - UNIVERSAL STUDIOS - MUMBAI

Join us today for a tour of UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, which has always been known for its innovative rides and attractions, and is designed to let visitors experience the movies like never before. A trip to Universal is like a trip into the heart of Hollywood. With films and TV shows always in production, one never knows who they might see wandering the sidewalks of the park. In the late afternoon proceed to the airport to board your overnight flight to Mumbai.
