The 143 elegantly appointed rooms at the hotel offer guests a relaxing ambience to unwind in after a tiring day. Tastefully furnished, each of these rooms overlook landscaped gardens and come stocked with a mini-bar and a complimentary tea-coffee making facility. There are also non-smoking areas and specially designed rooms for the physically challenged. Additional facilities include a 24-hour room service, a travel desk, beauty salon, a gift shop, an exercise room and a swimming pool. All rooms are equipped with a personalized digital safe with a Ving Card key system for better security. For the convenience of the guests, a hair dryer and an extra pillow are provided in each room.

The Lake Palace is located 26 km from the Udaipur airport and a kilometre from the city centre. Udaipur, the famed 'city of sunrise', was founded in 1567 by Maharana Udai Singh, a fearless Rajput king. This languid lake city with its fantasies in marble, picturesque hibiscus - covered gardens and elaborate fountain pavilions, embodies the glory of the Rajput era.
